About

Matthew Larocchia is a Clinical Research Coordinator working on the Teens, Emotions, and Social Interactions Study with Dr. Cope Feurer at CHAAMP. Matthew received his B.S. in Integrative Neuroscience from SUNY Binghamton University and previously worked under Dr. Brandon Gibb at the Binghamton Mood Disorders Institute.

Matthew is primarily interested in researching individual differences that contribute to emotional wellbeing and factors that promote resilience to stressful life events and the onset of depression in emerging adulthood. He plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and looks forward to combining his passion for research with his desire to practice.

In his free time, Matthew enjoys spending time in nature, collecting vintage clothing, and taking care of his pet reptiles.
