About
Maya Garg is an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator within CHAAMP on the Life Experiences and Emotional Development (LEED) study with Drs. Adam Bryant Miller and Caroline Oppenheimer. She graduated from Tufts University in 2025 with a B.S. in Clinical Psychology and a minor in Child Study & Human Development.
While at Tufts, she was a research assistant in the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study & Human Development looking into ethnic-racial identity development in adolescents of color and how they navigate multiple identities. She also was a program assistant at Boston Medical Center, working on the clinical evaluation team for Boston STAR, a program providing trauma services for youth.
Maya intends to pursue her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with interests in developing and implementing creative mental health interventions for communities of color. She is also passionate about community-based participatory research and working with youth. When not at CHAAMP, Maya enjoys writing letters, making art, and walking shelter dogs.
