Nick DeVito, MD, is a clinical assistant professor who joined our faculty after completing his general psychiatry residency at UNC. He works in a variety of outpatient clinics at UNC including the Acute Diagnostic and Treatment Clinic (ADTC), Psychiatry Consultation Clinic (PCC), and the Wake STEP clinic in Raleigh, NC. His clinical interests include working closely with patients who have severe and persistent mental illnesses, providing psychoeducation, and prioritizing shared decision-making to help patients manage their illnesses and lead fulfilling lives. He is excited about the opportunity to stay at UNC and continue working closely with interdisciplinary teams and psychiatry residents to provide high-quality care for patients at UNC.
