Dr. Dan is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry whose work centers on developing advanced computational tools and data‑driven methodologies to better understand human brain function and to identify highly sensitive and specific biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s disease. Her current projects span: Brain‑network analytics to quantify typical and atypical development across the lifespan; Manifold learning and machine‑learning pipelines for large‑scale neuroimaging and multi‑omics integration; AI‑for‑Science (AI4Science) platforms that accelerate computer‑assisted diagnosis and intervention, translating complex neural data into clinically actionable insights. Through this interdisciplinary research program, Dr. Dan aims to integrate neuroscience, data science, and artificial intelligence to advance precision medicine and improve patient outcomes.
