Related Curriculum and Degrees

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has multiple degree programs and curricula that resonate with social medicine topics and involve department faculty.  These programs include the Medical Anthropology Minor  and English MA Program in Literature, Medicine and Culture. Social Medicine faculty also can serve as a resource and potential advisor for students in the School of Medicine’s MD-PhD program who are interested in a PhD in a humanities, social science, or public health field.
