September 21, 2010 – Dr. K. Elizabeth Speck, a general surgery resident, was awarded a PlusPeople Award for the Summer 2010 quarter. This honor is presented to UNC Health Care employees for their outstanding performance and service on the job.
The PlusPeople Awards were established to recognize people who consistently excel at their jobs and who demonstrate an enthusiasm and devotion to duty that inspires others. It is a tribute to the positive attitude, the high quality of work and the concern for all of the people served.
