The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently approved two endovascular aortic repair devices after trials conducted at UNC. Dr. Mark Farber, Director of UNC Aortic Disease Management and Associate Professor of Surgery and Radiology, was the national lead investigator of the two devices: The RELAY Thoracic Stent Graft and The Conformable TAG Thoracic Endoprosthesis.
