July 20, 2011 — The Physicians Foundation has awarded Erin Fraher, PhD, a two-year, $750,000 grant to develop a tracking system that will monitor the country’s physician workforce in hopes of anticipating shortages.

Dr. Fraher is a research associate with joint appointments in the Department of Surgery and the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research.
