Murphy Mostellar was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He stayed in Mobile and attended the University of South Alabama for both his undergraduate and medical school education. He is interested in all surgical specialties as of now and plans to pursue a fellowship to continue his surgical training once he is able to narrow down his interest into a specific field. Becoming a part of the UNC family and being surrounded by such amazing educators and learners has been an extremely gratifying and rewarding experience, and he is grateful to be a part of it!
