December 14, 2012 — Heather Schultz, a Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Urology, was awarded the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA) President’s Trophy in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the specialty of urologic nursing.
Heather received this distinguished award at SUNA’s 43rd Annual Conference in Washington, DC, in November. Heather has been a key leader in writing cystoscopy guidelines for advanced practice providers in urology.
Each year the SUNA President has the honor of selecting members for recognition among their colleagues. One member is recognized for outstanding contributions to urologic nursing and one for outstanding contributions to SUNA.
