C. Scott Hultman, MD

Please join me offering heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Scott Hultman, who has just been named the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Reconstructive Surgery for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons / Plastic Surgery Foundation (ASPS/PSF).

ASPS/PSF is the largest plastic surgery organization in the world with about 6000 active members and an additional 2500 resident, candidate, and international members. In this position, Dr. Hultman will coordinate all of the academic programs and organizations nationally, including the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the ACGME RC for Plastic Surgery, ACAPS, and all of our subspecialty societies in hand surgery, nerve surgery, craniofacial surgery, pediatric plastic surgery, and microsurgery. This new position complements Dr. Hultman’s service to this professional society as outgoing Chair of the Finance and Investment Committee, managing an endowment of $25m, and immediate past Editor-in-Chief of Plastic Surgery News, the official news publication.
