Same-Day Surgery Clinic

The Same-Day Surgery Clinic is now open and accepting patient referrals.

The clinic provides same-day surgery consultations by appointment for:

  • Urgent outpatient surgery
  • Semi-elective surgery

The clinic provides expedited consultations and surgery scheduling for symptomatic patients in need of surgical care. Through a referring provider, patients can get a consultation appointment the same day their referral is submitted.

Hours and Locations

The clinic is open from Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is located within The Multispecialty Clinic on the first floor of the N.C. Memorial Hospital (101 Manning Dr First Floor, Chapel Hill, NC 27514).

For Physicians- How to Place a Referral:

Prior to placing a referral, please send Stacy Scott an Epic chat to ensure she is available.

  1. In Epic, under referrals, select Surgery (General) Clinic Referral.
  2. Under department select UNCH Same Day Surgery Clinic Manning Dr.
  3. Set priority to Urgent (2-7 days).
  4. Leave comments to provide more details.
