Ashley D. Meagher, MD, NRSA Postdoctoral Fellow in the UNC Department of Surgery, won the recent North Carolina/South Carolina American College of Surgeons (NC/SC ACS) Trauma/Acute Care Surgery Resident Paper Competition. Her presentation was entitled “Geographic Disparities in Post-hospitalization Rehabilitation After Traumatic Brain Injury,” and was presented at this weekend’s NC/SC ACS meeting in Asheville, NC. As a result of her win this weekend, Dr. Meagher has been invited to present at the regional ACS meeting in Mobile, AL in November.
