Carolina Blood Drive:
New date. The Carolina Blood Drive is coming to you on a new date – Wednesday, May 3. The Employee Forum invites the Carolina community to donate blood at the 35th annual Carolina Blood Drive in the Dean E. Smith Center, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3.
Donate Blood. For 35 years, the Carolina Blood Drive has potentially impacted more than 110,000 lives through blood donations. With so many reasons to donate blood, show you bleed Carolina blue and help us reach 100,000 more. Free parking is available at the Smith Center or ride the bus with Chapel Hill Transit to the Smith Center. All presenting donors will receive a commemorative blood drive T-shirt and free food.
Schedule your appointment. Call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767), visit RedCrossBlood.org, or use the Blood Donor App and enter sponsor code UNC. Walk-ins will be accepted the day of the drive, but appointments are encouraged.
Volunteer to help. Volunteers are needed for many tasks at the drive. Sign up to volunteer!
