We’re hosting a panel, “Beyond Academic Walls: Community-engaged Research, Implementation, and Evaluation” on Monday, February 23 at 11am ET. This session is part of Carolina Engagement Week, February 23-27.

Our Abacus Evaluation team members, alongside key community partners at Thriving Hearts, will discuss effective community engagement approaches and common challenges that arise in academic–community partnerships. Additionally, panelists will consider key areas for improvement to advance these collaborations. Participants will gain knowledge of community engagement with best practices for research and evaluation and leave with practical tools to navigate such partnerships in order to conduct meaningful and translatable research.

Please join us by registering for free!

This panel is one of several events that week that brings together Carolina faculty, staff and students with community partners to highlight partnerships between UNC-Chapel Hill and North Carolina communities.

The UNC Center for Thriving Communities is a proud co-sponsor of Carolina Engagement Week.
