2025 End of Year Department of Urology Awards

The conclusion of the academic year provides an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable achievements and dedication of the UNC Urology Department’s residents and faculty. During this year’s annual department banquet, held in conjunction with the graduation of our Residency and Fellowship Classes of 2025, several individuals were recognized for their excellence in education, research, and service.

Congratulations to our Residents, Drs. Hersh Trivedi, Brooke Spratte, Kevin Neuzil, and Faculty Member Dr. Hans Arora.

Resident of the Year

This year’s Resident of the Year Award was presented to Dr. Hersh Trivedi, one of our new 4th Year Residents.

Excellence in Research

The Excellence in Research Award was presented to Dr. Brooke Spratte, another current 4th Year Resident.

The 2025 Sheriff Award was presented to Dr. Kevin Neuzil, one of our recently graduated Chief Residents, and current Endourology/Minimally-Invasive Surgery Fellow
