About
Dr. Pham was raised in North Carolina and graduated from Duke University with an undergraduate degree in Biology. He received his medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. For residency, he pursued training at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He returned to Chapel Hill to join the faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at UNC.
Dr. Pham specializes in general urology. His clinical interests include kidney stones and prostatic diseases such as benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer. In addition to Chapel Hill, he will be partnering with UNC Chatham Hospital to offer urologic care to patients in Siler City and Pittsboro.

Dr. Minh Pham Selected as Faculty Tutor for UNC School of Medicine’s Patient Centered Care Course
Dr. Minh Nguyen Pham, Assistant Professor of Urology, has been selected to serve as a faculty tutor for the Patient Centered Care (PCC) course within the UNC School of Medicine’s Medical Doctorate curriculum beginning in the Fall 2026 term. Dr. Pham will lead one of these small groups during the Foundation Phase of the medical curriculum, meeting weekly with students as they develop the clinical and professional skills that will shape their future patient care.
