We are excited to announce that Dr. Brooke Spratte, a resident in the Department of Urology, has been selected as one of the Resident Representatives on the newly formed Strategic Plan Steering Committee for the UNC School of Medicine. This committee consists of representatives from various areas of the School of Medicine and will play a crucial role in shaping the future of medical education and healthcare at UNC.

Guiding the Development of the Strategic Plan

As a Resident Representative, Dr. Spratte will actively participate in the development of the newest version of the UNC School of Medicine’s strategic plan. This comprehensive plan aims to align the school’s vision and goals with the evolving landscape of healthcare, with a continued focus on becoming the nation’s leading public school of medicine. Dr. Spratte’s insights as a resident within the UNC Health system, along with the expertise of other committee members, will help ensure that the strategic plan addresses the current challenges and opportunities in medical education, patient care, and research.

Dr. Brooke Spratte completed her undergraduate education in Health Policy and Management at UNC and went on to complete a study abroad program at the Universidad de Santiago in Chile. Dr. Spratte returned to UNC to pursue her Medical Doctorate and is currently entering her second year of the Department of Urology’s residency program.
