2009-2010 Advocate Selection

This year, 11 advocates will be selected from the rising MS2 class.  Please review the applications from the thirty-six students who have applied before you vote for those students who would best fulfill the advocate responsiblities and represent your class as an advocate.  The voting website is located at the bottom of the page; you may vote for up to 11 classmates.

Advcoate Responsibilities:

• Serve as mentors, friends, and resources to the incoming class of first-year med school students (MS1s)
• Act as liasons between the Office of Student Affairs and fellow students
• Be a resource to their own class (current MS2s)  and assist them with their needs
• Help fellow students with personal or academic difficulties
• Assist in planning orientation for MS1s
