Welcome to the UNC School of Medicine Planning Office. Our mission is to plan and manage all major construction and renovation projects across the School of Medicine. In addition we provide data to support the appropriate distribution of space to all departments and faculty members, we support departments for office and laboratory relocation moves within the School of Medicine and we manage the door access cards for the School of Medicine.

Imaging Research Building Web-Cam

Internet Explorer (IE) is the easiest to use for viewing.  If you are viewing the first time requires you to download the Camera Viewer plug-in. Follow the directions below.  When you return to the site the next time, simply click on the image below to connect to view the construction progress.

You may want to print the page so that you have the instructions.  Use the printer Icon on the upper right cover of this page.

If you use Internet Explorer (IE):   Click here to download Camera Viewer.  Choose "Run" options. Then follow InstallWizard instructions.  You may also be asked to install ActiveX.  This is required so please click to download. Then, be sure to refresh your IE browser.

If you use Mozilla Firefox:   click on this link:  http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419. Then click on the button "add to Firefox."  You will be prompted to restart Firefox. After Firefox has restarted, go to the menu bar at the top of your screen and choose the Tools/IE Tab Options. In the URL box, cut and paste the the camera web address which is http://152.19.49.102/live/index.html.  Click "add".  Then click "apply."  Then refresh your Firefox browser.
