Featured Event: Mitchell Symposium 2022

Moses Ikiugu, PhD, OTR/L is Professor of Occupational Therapy at the University of South Dakota. He is a leading scholar in addressing the relationship of human occupation to environmental sustainability. The Mitchell Symposium is an annual event dedicated to the late Marlys Mitchell, PhD, founder of the MS OT program at UNC, and her husband, Earl.

Featured Event: Medical Providers with Disabilities Panel

This panel discussion was organized by current students, including those with disabilities. The conversation surrounded understanding the perspectives of health care providers with disabilities, and considered how people with disabilities experience discrimination, marginalization and other challenges.
