What drew you to UNC?

The faculty. They genuinely want to get to know you and mentor you towards your goals. As a medical student, I could see how the attendings and residents collaborated in the care of the patient. Everyone just seemed to really respect and appreciate each other!

What do you love most about the Triangle?

The weather (you can be outside all year round), and the food (especially in Cary).

What are your career aspirations?

Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology, likely in an academic center.

What is your go-to fun fact?

I have a knack for identifying dog breeds.

If you weren’t an anesthesiologist, what would you be?

Chef or choreographer.
