Five months after US News & World Report named them among five UNC Health "high performing" hospitals in maternity care, UNC Medical Center and UNC Health Rex were named to Newsweek's “America’s Best Maternity Hospitals 2025” list.

This year, UNC Anesthesiology is thrilled to have four anesthesiologists and one APP named to the 2025 UNC Hospitals & UNC Faculty Physicians Award for Carolina Care Excellence list.

At the Society of Pediatric Anesthesiology spring meeting in late March (SPA-AAP Pediatric Anesthesiology 2025), UNC Anesthesiology came out strong in leadership, scholarly distinction, and overall current and alumni attendance!
