What drew you to UNC?

It’s in a great location with even better people. I did an away rotation here and felt immediately welcomed. I knew then that UNC would be a good fit for me.

What do you love most about the Triangle?

Carolina Hurricanes hockey! It’s also in a perfect location for quick trips to the beach or the mountains. There’s no shortage of things to do and restaurants to enjoy.

What are your career aspirations?

I’m unsure about a subspecialty at this point. I could see myself in an academic setting sometime in the future, as I’ve found that I really enjoy teaching.

What is your go-to fun fact?

My wife and I met each other when we were in 3rd grade!

If you weren’t an anesthesiologist, what would you be?

If I were good, I’d be a professional golfer. Otherwise, I would do something in sports management.
