Visiting Professor Program
Exciting 2026 Line-up!
UNC Anesthesiology facilitates an excellent Visiting Professor Program series, hosting experts in the field almost monthly who speak on the latest evidence-based updates in the field of anesthesiology and pain medicine. As a component of the Visiting Professors program, the department’s faculty members are invited to contribute their expertise at partnering institutions. Visiting professors broaden our perspectives on important current problems and controversies in anesthesiology by working in the operating rooms, discussing specific cases and practices with residents, presenting formal clinical conferences, and interacting in informal exchanges with the staff.
