Connie Gilet, MSN, RN, ANP-BC, was named the 2021 Maestro Award Winner in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension within the Department of Medicine. The Maestro Award for Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring has been presented annually since 2009 by the UNC clinical nephrology fellows. The award honors Professor Romulo Colindres, whose outstanding teaching and mentoring of nephrology fellows earned him the title of “Maestro”. UNC Kidney Center graduate students nominated Connie Gilet for the 2021 Maestro Award in recognition of her influential role in their education. Congratulations, Connie! |
