Teaching and Research

Dr. Moorefield co-directs the Medical Science courses, overseeing the 9 courses for 1st-year and 2nd-year medical students listed below. She also directs the Molecules to Cells course and directs physiology in each course.

Her educational scholarship evaluates the effects of different pedagogical approaches on student learning outcomes.
