The goal of my research program is to define and characterize signaling networks that promote cell cycle progression and genome stability and to determine their role in the etiology and treatment of cancer. I am specifically focused on ubiquitin signaling, the major mechanism by which specific proteins are targeted for degradation in eukaryotes. My lab applies diverse experimental approaches in cell, molecular and systems biology. Our combinatorial approaches provide a rich and rigorous research environment and an exceptional training setting for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
