The Clinical Ethics Consultation Service, as supported by our HEC, is well described at the HEC web site here.

We offer ethics consultation using a team approach, with review of selected consults at our HEC member meetings. We characterize our consultations by nature and intensity of our involvement and by focal patient. Any one patient matter may have several encounters, including interviews, meetings, and participation in rounds.  In an ongoing effort to improve our work, we request feedback from physicians and staff who request our services.
