Hospital Ethics Committee

An advisory body and standing committee of the Medical Staff Executive Committee, our Hospital Ethics Committee (HEC) was created in the mid-1980s in response to the growing recognition that hospitals require mechanisms to address the ethical issues that arise in patient care.
