On Saturday November 27, 2024 Linda Van Le and Emily Chang attended “Conversations with UNC School of Medicine Faculty & Students” at the UNC Asian American Center. Director Heidi Kim led the discussion. Dr. Peter Hwang from Family Medicine also attended. We met with UNC students and discussed careers in medicine.  Medical students Alan Zhao and Dristen Trate  from UNC Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) also shared their experiences.  It was great to see such enthusiasm and interest in the next generation of doctors.
