Leading Change (Two-part Series)
Are you leading a center, institute, and/or faculty committee about a significant change such as curriculum, funding, evaluation, or other academic initiatives? Bring your change initiative project for our review and application of key concepts and models to lead and apply effective change. Background skills in managing conflict and giving feedback are important with developing skills in leading and managing change.

Offered by the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) and intended for experienced leaders or past participants of CFE programming.

Program Dates: November 15 and December 6, 2018

Leading Change Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the three key planning models for leading change (Strategic, Process, and People)
  • Learn and apply an engagement formula to facilitate and gather input from key stakeholders, faculty, and staff
  • Identify and understand the people-side of change and how to respond
  • Consider and build an individual development plan for the necessary leadership skills for leading organizational change and individual change
