Radical Acceptance | Susannah Matthews, MSW, LCSW

Description: Susannah will discuss how radical acceptance, the ability to accept situations that are outside of our control without judging them, can help us reduce suffering and distress. Rather than being attached to a painful past, radical acceptance suggests that non-attachment is the key to overcoming suffering.

Her therapeutic work includes providing evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally humble behavioral health and case management services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
