Save the date for the AOE Workshop “Dynamic Lecturing” with Todd Zakrajsek, PhD on Feburary 4, 2021, 12:00 – 1:00 PM EST via Zoom (registration link below).
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain why the phrase “Active Learning is More Effective Than Lecturing” has no base of evidence as stated.
  2. Describe why lectures should be no more than 10 – 12 minutes in length.
  3. Integrate at least one engaged learning strategy into a didactic session.
