A native to the Research Triangle, Jeremy earned his Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2022 while completing his field training in an intensive outpatient treatment program for substance abuse. Now serving in the NC Cancer Hospital, Jeremy employs a holistic approach to person-centered care in order to amplify the strengths and protective factors that patients bring with them into treatment, and throughout their recovery journeys. Jeremy shares a comprehensive overview of health education and treatment options with patients when approaching their current tobacco use.
Jeremy’s interests include brainstorming personalized hand-to-mouth alternatives for tobacco use, incorporating family systems into treatment, harm reduction approaches, and patient-focused goal setting and treatment.
