Personal Statement

Michael Baca-Atlas is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Family Medicine and a Clinical Fellow in Addiction Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry. He recently graduated from the UNC’s Family Medicine Residency Program. He is excited to join the Tobacco Treatment Program as Associate Medical Director. Michael’s interests include substance use treatment in the primary care setting, evidence-based practices, and educating trainees at various levels.
