Dr. Jeremy Purvis (Associate Professor, Genetics) has been awarded an Administrative Equipment Supplement from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) for his existing grant titled “Computational models of the human cell cycle to reveal disease mechanism and inform treatment”.

Laura Raffield, PhD has been appointed as tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics, effective 29 July 2022. 

Hector Franco, PhD (Assistant Professor, Genetics) was awarded a new R01 grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) for his project titled “Posttranslational regulation of FOXA1 in breast cancer”. 

Yun Li, PhD (Professor, Genetics and Biostatistics) was awarded an R56 grant from the National Institute of Aging (NIA) for her project titled “Study of selective cell and system vulnerability in Alzheimer’s disease”.
