Despite advancements in precision oncology and the development of targeted therapies, for many patients, a subset of cancer cells are either non-responsive or exhibit an adaptive response to these drugs. This incomplete response of tumor cell populations limits therapeutic efficacy and underscores the need to better understand the molecular mechanisms behind therapeutic resistance. My research leverages quantitative microscopy and computational modeling to uncover and understand the molecular signatures underlying this resistance. By identifying the pathways and cellular behaviors associated with fractional resistance, my work aims to provide insights into overcoming drug resistance and enhancing therapeutic effectiveness in cancer treatment.
