Sarthi Patil was awarded the Biostatistics Undergraduate Summer Internships (BUSI) Program End-of-Summer Research Symposium Best Poster Presentation Award for her poster entitled TWAS Training for Jackson Heart Study Cohort. Sarthi is working to train transcriptome-wide association study (TWAS) models using newly generated RNA-seq data from the Jackson Heart Study.
