PhD candidate Jamshaid Shahir in the Jeremy Purvis lab shares about his research on how to heal a broken heart, a path that is positioning him for a role in the sciences at the frontier of his discipline and for a career in computational biology.
Jamshaid Shahir is a graduate student in the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB) curriculum and member of the Jeremy Purvis laboratory, where he studies the dynamics of cell cycle progression under oncogenic KRAS mutations using experimental data and computational modeling.
