Ms. Noam's Occupational Therapy Room, click around to explore!

Occupational therapy fieldwork students are doing amazing things! We are lucky to have such wonderful programs and students here in North Carolina. Noam Shemer is a second year OTS from UNC-CH completing her FWII in Durham Public Schools. In her first 6 out of 12 weeks, she prepared a “Process and Procedures for Evaluation at School” in English and Spanish for a school to distribute to support families’ expectations of in-person testing protocols (e.g. what check-in would look like, photos of the entrance, PPE). She also co-led a professional development regarding “Collaboration in OT School-Based OT practice” based on an article review for the Durham Public Schools 20+ occupational therapy team. When she’s not on Zoom leading sessions for students, you can find her asynchronous bitmoji classroom for continued student support. The future of OT is looking bright!
