Areas of Interest

My professional interests focus on performing arts physical therapy, with an emphasis on helping dancers and musicians improve performance, prevent injury, and recover safely. I aim to combine my background in dance with my clinical expertise to provide specialized care for performing artists. In the future, I plan to open a dance studio that integrates movement education, wellness, and physical therapy to support both artistic and physical development.

About

Why I chose to do a residency program at UNC

I chose to pursue the orthopedic residency at UNC to strengthen my clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills under the guidance of experienced mentors. The program’s strong focus on evidence-based practice, research, and professional growth aligns with my goal of becoming an advanced orthopedic clinician and preparing for a future fellowship in performing arts physical therapy.

What I like about NC

What I like about Chapel Hill is the welcoming community and the balance it offers between a vibrant college town and a peaceful environment. The nearby access to nature, along with its strong sense of connection and charm, makes it an appealing place to live. Coming from New Orleans, I appreciate the change of scenery and the opportunity to experience a different pace while still feeling a strong sense of community.
