I am an epidemiologist/outcomes researcher with more than 25 years of studies in arthritis. I have been the PI of 5 community-based physical activity intervention trials. I also have an interest in social determinants and health outcomes. Obesity is a major risk factor for arthritis and many chronic diseases that are frequently comorbid with arthritis. I am currently a consultant on a systematic review related to arthritis and obesity for a CDC project.
