Zeiss 800 Upright Confocal
A laser scanning confocal mounted on an Upright Axio Imager .Z2 microscope
Features
- Useful for cleared tissue, zebrafish, any wet preps with dipping lenses, and general fixed specimens
- The emission path uses variable dichroic mirrors to achieve flexibility of bandpass adjustment similar to spectral detectors that use a prism or a diffraction grating.
- The upright configuration of the scope allows the use of wet preparations imaged with dipping objectives.
Location: 231 Taylor Hall
