Dr. Fogel’s clinical training in general pediatrics makes him well suited and expert on adolescent vaccinations. His research experience includes vaccination preferences and an ongoing grant-funded quality improvement project that aims to improve vaccination rates in the primary care pediatric setting. His training in public health gives him a broader understanding of the context for which this project is important. He is also the Associate Division Chief of General Academic Pediatrics, the Vice Chair of Quality for the Department of Pediatrics, and the Medical Director of the main pediatric primary care center at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
