Mr. Barry has practiced as a physician assistant specializing in pediatric care for the past 20+ years. Through his clinical practice, he has gained experience in working with parents who have hesitated or declined immunizations for preventable diseases and has spoken nationally on it. Previously, he has served as the American Academy of Physician Assistants Medical Liaison to the American Academy of Pediatrics, the president of the Society for Physician Assistants in Pediatrics, and on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.
