Ms. Ernst has been actively involved in parent advocacy regarding immunization efforts. She is the Executive Director for Voices for Vaccines, a parent led organization that supports and advocates for on-time vaccination and reduction of vaccine preventable diseases, such as HPV-related cancers. In addition, she is the co-founder of the Minnesota Childhood Immunization Coalition, which is a coalition of parents, healthcare workers, public health workers, and health organizations dedicated to supporting legislation that improves immunization policies and engaging in parent-to-parent educational conversations.
