I am passionate about health communication, and my main research interest is in exploring risk perceptions of disease. My background in health behavior has allowed me to oversee different types of clinical research activities, including psychosocial interventions for children and adolescents. Before coming to UNC, I managed a psychiatry-based research center at Massachusetts General Hospital and worked with community organizations to implement research and quality improvement projects. I also have experience coordinating studies funded by PCORI and the NIH.
