UNC My Chart

Faculty and staff members from UNC-Chapel Hill have formed the UNC TarHealers team to raise funds at the 2014 Hemophilia Walk in Morrisville, NC on Saturday, October 11, 2014.

The Hemophilia Walk, which is sponsored by the National Hemophilia Foundation, is a nationwide event that raises funds and awareness about hemophilia and other bleeding and clotting disorders. Proceeds will support activities of the local NHF chapter, Hemophilia of North Carolina, as well as its parent organization.

The walk will take place at beautiful Lake Crabtree County Park. Everyone is welcome to participate. Check-in begins at 9:00 AM. Bring your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and four-legged companions for a great day at the park. Lake Crabtree is located on a 215-acre site adjacent to a 520-acre lake and easily accessible from the major highways. The walk trail will take you along the lake and through the paved trails where you’ll enjoy the changing colors of the fall leaves. Transportation will be available from the remote parking lot across the street if spaces fill up in the park. Come and join the UNC TarHealers team because every step makes a difference!

You do not have to donate money to register for the Walk. To register to be on the UNC TarHealers team or to make a donation in support of our team, click on the link below and choose “Register” or “Donate” at the top of the page.
