We have developed and implement policies and procedures that address the logistical, procedural, and legal restrictions involved with the Human Pluripotent Cell (HPC) Core Facility. Specific policy includes the following items:

  1. The investigator will initially meet with HPC Core Facility staff prior to the initiation of the study to review the specific needs of each study, to assess to what extent the HPC Core Facility is able to fulfill those needs, and counsel investigators in identifying which cell lines are best suited for their specific applications.
  2. Cell lines in use by investigators are not to be sold or shared with any third party or other investigator.
  3. HPC Core Facility directors will meet to review all research proposals on a first come first serve basis to examine each study for scientific and practical feasibility.
